Common questions
Isn't a power strip enough?
Power strips protect only what's plugged into them. A whole-home device protects every circuit, including hardwired equipment like your furnace and A/C.
Does the NEC require surge protection?
Recent editions of the National Electrical Code require surge protection when a home's service is replaced or upgraded.
